Let’s be honest: delivery in 24 hours is possible on many domestic routes, but not all of them. The actual driving distance, the destination country, driver availability at the time and mandatory rest periods set the limit of what can seriously be committed to.

On long or international routes, the realistic timescale is closer to 48 hours or a little more, depending on the destination. We prefer to tell you in advance rather than promise a speed we then can’t sustain. When we receive your request, we study the specific route and confirm the tightest timescale we can genuinely meet.

What affects the cost?

Understanding which factors come into play helps you interpret the quote better. These are the main elements that determine the price of a priority transfer with a driver:

  • Distance and route: the mileage between origin and destination is the biggest factor, as it determines the driving hours, fuel and tolls.
  • Driver travel: how the driver reaches the pick-up point (flight, train, etc.) is calculated and included in the final price.

Vehicle requirements

Since the car is moved by driving it on the road, it must meet a few minimum conditions to circulate with full guarantees. Before closing the quote we check with you that everything is in order:

  • In running order: the vehicle must start and drive normally. This service does not accept broken-down cars or ones that can’t move under their own power.
  • Valid roadworthiness certificate and insurance: a valid roadworthiness certificate (MOT/ITV) and the car’s insurance must be in order, as it will be driven on public roads.
  • Cars with a category B licence: we move any vehicle that can be driven with a standard driving licence. Motorcycles are not part of this service.
  • Delivered empty: the car must be handed over with no objects inside. We accept no responsibility whatsoever for belongings left inside the vehicle.
