We answer the most common questions about vehicle transport across Spain and Europe: how the service works, what documents you need, how much it costs and how your car travels fully insured. If you can’t find the answer you’re looking for, call us on +34 685 76 30 09 or request your free quote.
Questions about the service
We move cars, motorcycles, vans, caravans and classic, luxury or sports models, either individually or grouped on a car transporter. If your case is special due to size, weight or value, let us know when requesting a quote and we’ll suggest the most suitable solution.
We operate throughout mainland Spain and across most of the European Union. We run domestic and international routes in both directions: you can send your car from Spain to countries such as France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway or Sweden, and vice versa.
The timeframe depends on the route and the option chosen. As a guide, domestic journeys are usually completed within a few days, while European routes take a little longer. When we send your quote we give you an estimated pickup and delivery date, and if you need maximum speed we offer an express service with a private driver in 24/48 h.
It doesn’t have to be you personally: an authorised person can hand over or receive the keys and sign the paperwork. What matters is that someone is available at both points within the agreed window; we notify you in advance to coordinate it.
Questions about prices and quotes
You can request a quote online through our form or call us on +34 685 76 30 09. We only need to know the type of vehicle, whether it runs or not, and the origin and destination of the move. We reply within a maximum of 24 working hours.
The main ones are the distance between origin and destination, the type and dimensions of what is being moved, whether it runs or not, the option chosen (grouped on a transporter or individual service) and the requested deadlines. That’s why each rate is calculated individually.
Grouping on a car transporter is usually the most economical option, because several customers share the route costs. The individual or express service with a private driver offers greater speed and flexibility of dates, at a higher price. We recommend the option that best fits your schedule and budget.
No. The quote is free and with no obligation. We send it within a maximum of 24 working hours with a fixed price and the service conditions, and you decide at your own pace whether to go ahead.
Required documentation
For a standard move you just need the registration document and the technical data sheet, along with the contact details of whoever hands over and receives the vehicle. For international routes or special cases, such as imported or deregistered cars, we’ll tell you if any additional document is required.
Yes. On a car transporter we can load cars that don’t run or have no valid roadworthiness certificate, provided you let us know when requesting the quote: that way we prepare the machinery needed to carry out the loading safely. Bear in mind that the express service with a private driver does require the vehicle to be in perfect running order, with a valid roadworthiness certificate and insurance.
Yes. This is common in private sales or family arrangements. We just need the relevant documentation and authorisation from the owner, along with the contact details of whoever hands over and receives the vehicle.
Yes, we recommend handing it over with no personal belongings inside: the cover protects the vehicle, not the items travelling in it. In addition, in the express service with a private driver it is a mandatory requirement.
Insurance and cover during transport
Yes. All moves are covered by the carrier’s liability insurance, in line with Spanish regulations and the CMR convention on international routes. If the value is particularly high, ask us about extended cover options.
The carrier’s liability for damage attributable to the journey, from loading to delivery, under Spanish regulations and the CMR convention on international routes. It doesn’t cover personal items left inside the car, which is why we ask that it travels empty.
For transport on a transporter it isn’t essential, since the vehicle travels as goods and is covered by the carrier’s policy. However, the express service with a private driver does require valid insurance and roadworthiness, because the car is driven on the road.
At pickup the condition of the vehicle is documented and on delivery you should check it before signing. If you notice any issue, note it on the delivery note or consignment note at the moment of delivery and let us know as soon as possible so we can process the insurance claim smoothly.
